This post is written in response to Adam Ickes challenge Six on the Sixth using the theme word “Fire”.

Flames
Slowly the flames crept toward her.
Smoke
The sight of smoke frighten her.
Burnt
She could smell the burnt flooring.
Yellow Coals
Yellow coals were smoking behind her.
Sirens
She heard the blare of sirens.
Hands
Helping hands suddenly appeared from above.
I like the way you’ve managed to tell a whole story through your little snippets. Sounds like there will be a happy ending!

Ominous tiny tales that have a happy ending. I like how you relate each story to create a longer one. One note, I’m wondering about, “The sigh of smoke frighten her.” Should it be, “The sight of smoke frightened her,” or am I misunderstanding? Great work! 🙂

You are right of course. Don’t you just hate that when you read and reread a post and still find an error. It’s fixed. Thanks for the comment.
