Ya just never know. Another fact I think you would appreciate. You know I have three cats. I was a dog person before I got married (a zillion years ago). I now am a “Kennel Buddy” at a local animal no kill facility. I take my buddy home with me a couple of times a week just to give him some time away and spend time with me. My first buddy “Mercedes” was adopted after three weeks at the shelter. My current buddy “Zeus” will probably never get adopted as he is an 8 year old male Pit Bull. A gentle soul but not the ideal candidate. And young and attractive have the best odds. Kinda sad!
You’re a good soul, DJ. I had dogs, too. Then dogs and cats and now just cats. Poor Zeus. People’s ideas about Pit Bulls is a shame. That’s pretty great that some of the dogs can come home with you. I’d get way too attached……
