Five Sentence Fiction – Silver

What it’s all about: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist. Each week Lillie post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to participate will write a five sentence story based on the prompt word.

This week: SILVER

Joseph had a bad feeling that John would go to the FBI and blow the whistle on their activities. They had worked hard on this credit card scan involving stealing thousands of credit card numbers. The scam would hit the major retailers hard and it would be weeks before they realized their systems had been broken into. As Joseph was being arrested he knew he was right. John would do anything for 30 pieces of silver.
