This is my friend Jake. Jake is a Clydesdale. He claims to be nineteen hands tall and two thousand pounds.
Jake asked me to saddle up and go for a ride. I think that is a recipe for disaster.
Our trip to Costa Rica included a day in the life experience where we were offered a cup of tea made from this unique teapot.
You may be perplexed as to exactly what kind of device this is. This is a “pig” on the Alaska pipeline. It improves the flow of oil through the pipeline and monitors its condition. The orange polyurethane in this pipe segment is a cleaning and flow improvement pig.

This a picture of Mercedes with her Shelter Buddy (me). As a shelter buddy I take a dog home with me for a few hours or go shopping with them in the car. It gets them away from the hectic environment of the shelter. Plus it’s good for me too! Mercedes has since been adopted. Yea!
Below is my newest companion. His name is Zeus. He is a male pit bull that will celebrate his 9th birthday later this month. He will have a hard time finding a home I believe. 9 year old pit bulls are not on the top of the list for adoption. He’s a good old guy.
