The Meet

This post is written for Friday Fictioneers. The challenge is to write a complete story in 100 words or less using the picture prompt below. So here goes…..

The Prompt:

My story:

From the government provided luxury apartment the meeting point looked bleak. They would have a great view of the meet. Because the bridge cast a dark shadow underneath it had proved to be a satisfactory meeting point. Perhaps that is why they picked these places. Things started to change a few weeks ago. Now they wanted information updated from him daily. From his experience this meant things were coming together for the big event. His large payday was just around the corner.

Still, it is a strange place to meet your handler. He never heard the shot. You never do.
