Trifecta Challenge
This week we are giving you a page from the Oxford English Dictionary. The ninety-ninth page, to be exact. From this page, you can choose any word, any definition, to use in your post. (Please type your chosen word in bold, so we know.) And instead of our typical 33-333 word limit, we are asking for 99 words exactly.
A Detroit hotel says thieves made off with a baby grand piano by telling staff they were taking the rare instrument for a tune-up.
Police say two men lifted a Boston Steinway Baby Grand Piano onto a dolly to wheel it out of a fourth-floor conservatory of the downtown Detroit Hotel near the end of lunchtime on July 14.
Vinny Steel, the head of hotel security, said employees asked the men what they were doing, but were let alone to whisk the instrument away after explaining it was going for some musical servicing.
“We found it very strange,” Steel said.
Hey those thieves, had to be more than one to whisk the baby grand,I wonder if there was a musician among them.To steal a baby grand has to be the most interesting story I read.I think the talented musician aka a thief got a chance to show his skill,he urgently needed a piano. The hotel was the right place, where else can you find a bunch of people who didn’t care and only asked for something to do.The employees duty was to alert someone, not just happy to hear it was going for servicing!

Thanks! Appreciate the comment. Don’t you just hate it when you make a typo and have to admit an “opps” comment? It’s happened to me a few times.
